Jonah (president)

in the process of working with the liberation network
regarding the dismantling the culture campaign, jay will be asking for the association’s input and Jonah will update again when it becomes clear
re-registration is officially complete
have more people to add to the mailing list, to send the list to Amanda

Fliss (vp ug)

have been doing the parenting scheme, five random freshers, running the lgbt+ freshers group chat and it has been going well
post grad has messaged them about creating a post grad freshers group chat, Allen is to create the group chat and send it out

Allen (vp pg)

had request from postgrads so set up the five random freshers for postgrad and therefore have created a google form about it, there has been quite a few sign ups
parenting scheme for post grad is currently doing well
have set up a social for post grads and mature students on the 24th of October

Peter & Amy (welfare)

have been doing welfare wednesday over the summer
been creating a list of lgbt+ run or inclusive helpline
had su training, last week had the first drop ins
the regular timings for welfare drop ins have not been decided as the schedules of the welfare officers are still pending the release of their timetables
created freshers guide with other exec members
regarding safe sex supplies, it is currently unclear about how they can give them to people safely as well as anonymously considering the current climate, have sign posted in the post other places that safe sex sippplies can be obtained
to tell college reps that if they needs any gender affirming things the association can provide it for them

Freddy (social sec)

did some among us games
working on a quiz this weekend with the college reps, managed to contact the college reps and they are all happy to do that apart from collingwood (Peter will take over), no one for grey (Jonah), johns, and jobo, South (Fliss), ustinov the welfare rep will contact Freddy
Allen to help liaising with the reps
will contact more people for jobo

Erica & Anne (campaigns)

working on campaign for intersection awareness, starting disability campaign next week
Fliss to help them with the disability campaign
currently working on gender neutral bathroom and dress code
got in contact with the DUCK liaison and DUCK is to help the association repost our content on instagram
DUCK also to provide an exec member from their team during a campaigns meeting in order to help plan a panel for the association
to ask duck about charity raising together

MEET THE ASSOCIATION

the exec is to introduce themselves briefly during the meeting
taking questions as well, questions can submitted to the facebook page, to the google docs or anonymity, or can be asked directly in the call that day (either by chat or verbally)

5 RANDOM FRESHERS RETURNERS VERSION

COLLEGE COMMUNICATION

Peter and Jonah to have a zoom call with the college reps about what the association and colleges can do together as well as what the colleges would like the association to do
tentative plan to have this call each term

BLACK HISTORY MONTH

PURPLE RADIO

an LGBT+ Association radio show was started two years ago by Tom (former steering) and the association plans to bring it back
tentative plan to have it on monday night
Jonah to talk about purple radio if the slot is open
will get a creative team to sort out the program
concept is not finalized

OTHER BUSINESS

Post-grad engagement

doing well currently, higher numbers than the association has had
postgrads have been reaching out, Sam (he/him) is to post contacts to Allen to help
Allen to try and get into the mailing list for the taught and research postgrad to advertise
